WHO?
If you love a trip to the English countryside to shop for antiques, then grab a friend. We cap trips at 4. Why such a small group? Based on past trips with large groups we have found smaller is better. The smaller size is perfect to help you navigate purchasing, measuring, photographing, and completing shipping paperwork. We try to avoid overwhelming cute English antique stores and storeowners.

SAMPLE DAY ITINERARY?
We start with an early breakfast then drive through the English countryside to where we will shop. We hit small stores, warehouses, and antique malls. We will be arriving for store openings, have a mid day snack or cream tea, and wrap up the afternoon shopping. We will return to the room to freshen up before a pub dinner.
-
FLEXIBLE ITINERARY?
Can we take time off from shopping to relax and just be tourist? We’d love to! We’ve been to the spas, garden tours, historic homes, and walked the public paths and are happy to wrap up shopping early to take you to our favorite spots!
-
DID YOU SAY ANTIQUE FAIR?
There is nothing more exciting than waking up before dawn to attend a fair. Why such an early bird? There’s no worse feeling than arriving late and finding your unicorn antique with a sold sign! Worse yet in someone else’s buggy. We will cover your fair fees and help you do all the legwork for the international shipping container.
-
HOW DO WE PREPARE FOR TRIP?
We will have a zoom or teams meeting ahead of trip with guides including tips for packing, currency exchange, and shipping. During our trip we’ll go over the next day’s plans each night so that you know what to wear, what to bring, and what to expect at each shop (some haggle and some do not so we can save you the embarrassment.) We navigate helping you know your shipping options before you leave so you are ready to shop! We have been importing for years with multiple shippers and can break down your options.
-
TRAVEL INFO & can YOU HELP US PLAN EXTRA DAYS?
You will want to fly into Heathrow Airport. Trip begins around 9 am. You will fly out of Heathrow (midday and afternoon flights work best.) Yes, we have a two day, design centric London itinerary crafted with stops at Design Center Chelsea Harbor and a stroll down Pimlico Road. GOAL:
To provide busy clients an organized very small group trip to England filled with design inspiration while hunting for antiques and seamlessly shipping them home.
LODGING:
English boutique pubs and hotels that are design centric (we are luxury linens and fancy spa products kind of travelers.)
FOOD:
We eat breakfast at pubs and hotels, enjoy light snacks midday, and do dinner like locals! We will pop into English grocery stores to grab wine, biscuits, crisps, and healthy snacks.
ANTIQUE STORES:
We only hit the good spots (trust us we have vetted them for you as to not waste precious time). Think high end stores so your can can train your eye to the best and affordable to stretch your money further. Some trips include fair dates and others are strictly shopping stores and warehouses.
ANTIQUE FAIRS:
We try to time the trips so you can hit the biggest professional fairs in Europe. These are for the serious shopper and have serious rewards. Our shipper will be on site to collect your goods. Please inquire if your trip week includes a fair.
SHIPPING:
We offer you options! Before leaving we will give you insider guides to help you choose to bring items home in suitcase, mail home, or we can introduce you to our international shipper. (You have the option to pick your own shipper if desired.) They will pack your goods with great care and ship in a container to you. We guide your through tagging and completing your shipping paperwork. You can choose to ship a few pieces or sixty seven boxes of treasures. You will only pay for what YOU ship and no hidden per item charges.
